Mandoza ambulance shocker

As the nation struggles to come to terms with the death of kwaito star Mduduzi Tshabalala, aka Mandoza, shocking details about his lengthy wait for an ambulance have emerged.His manager, Kevin Ntaopane, claims that Mandoza's family in Pimville, Soweto, allegedly waited for hours on Sunday for an ambulance to arrive.Ntaopane said: "I didn't want to mention it but it calculated to more than three hours, because when [Mandoza's wife Mpho] called me, she said: 'I've been waiting since this morning'."Ntaopane explained that he rushed to Pimville, took Mandoza into his car and sped off to the hospital. He added that the family were left frustrated by the lengthy wait for an ambulance."The frustration I saw in them, I didn't even want to look in their faces," he said."We were three minutes away from the hospital and he passed away. But we fought, we almost caused an accident trying to get him to the hospital."The Nkalakatha hitmaker died on Sunday after a long battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday and his funeral on Saturday...
