Highveld Lions coach Geoff Toyana took a dim view losing Temba Bavuma to an "unnecessary" national team call-up yesterday. Bavuma was called up as cover for David Miller, Rilee Rossouw and Farhaan Behardien.Toyana made his feelings known on Twitter after Bavuma's unbeaten 76 in the Lions' first innings 154 against the Cape Cobras last week at the Wanderers. He later deleted the tweet."I'll be missing a top player who has done well and I'm very disappointed in that," Toyana said.Cricket SA spokesman Altaaf Kazi referred queries to convenor of selectors Linda Zondi, who said he sympathised with Toyana."After scoring the 100 on debut against Ireland Temba was always going to be next on the list," Zondi said. ..
