Cape Town lawmen seize ivory‚ abalone and shark jaws at Chinese man's home

A Chinese man was arrested in Cape Town on Saturday with illegal ivory trinkets worth R100‚000. City of Cape Town law enforcement officers‚ acting on a tip-off‚ found ivory bangles‚ beads and chopsticks in the man's Green Point home. "He also had 16 shucked abalone‚ a number of exotic fish stomachs‚ exotic dried fish and three shark jaws in his possession‚" said law enforcement principal inspector Wayne Dyason.
