Employees at a branch in Hokkaido, where weather agencies have predicted an unusually cold snap ahead with severe snowfalls, are training reindeer to deliver pizza."If it runs properly, it could go as fast as 80km/h," a trainer said.Several delivery methods are being considered, such as strapping the pizza to the reindeer's backs or hitching the animals to a driverless sleigh fitted with a GPS.Company officials said they were working with the Hokkaido Delivery Integrated Research Centre to ensure the welfare of the animals.
