A businessman whose R5.6-million Lamborghini Huracan Spyder was delivered in the wrong colour has laid a criminal complaint against the supercar dealership that supplied it.
Ridwaan Rajah laid a complaint of fraud and forgery against Imperial Collection at Parow police station in Cape Town on Thursday.
The parties are embroiled in a High Court battle in which Rajah is demanding delivery of a new Lamborghini in the exact shade of blue he originally asked for.

In his affidavit‚ Rajah said that when the car was delivered in July it was the wrong hue of blue. He also accused the dealership of forging signatures during the transaction.
Imperial Collection lawyer Hannes Grobler would not respond to questions by TMG Digital but said the company would be opposing the court application brought by Rajah.
In his papers‚ Rajah said he agreed with Imperial Collection that it would resell the vehicle he was unahppy with to recoup the money he had spent. Rajah then paid an R817 000 deposit for a new car in the correct colour.
But the transaction soured‚ with Rajah accusing the dealer of forging certain documents.
