Lions coach Johan Ackermann is hoping that the month-long Super Rugby break will not have a negative effect on their momentum.
The Johannesburg team have won their last 10 games in a row and will return to action only on July 1 when they host the Sunwolves.
Ackermann will be keeping his fingers crossed that his players return from Springbok and South Africa "A" duty without injuries or fatigue.
Andries Coetzee, Courtnall Skosan, Elton Jantjies, Ruan Dreyer, Jaco Kriel, Franco Mostert, Lionel Mapoe, Malcolm Marx, Ross Cronje and Warren Whiteley are part of the Springbok squad to face France in a three-match series next month.
