A family in Mississippi, US, got the shock of their lives when a family member who was declared dead, suddenly woke up at a funeral home.

According to yourjewishnews.com, 78-year-old Walter Williams was pronounced dead by the county coroner.

"They checked him and he was officially pronounced dead. They placed him in a plastic bag, zipped him up and they put him in a hearse,” Eddie Hester, a nephew of Williams said.

After he was taken to the funeral home, his leg began to move. An employee at the funeral home immediately contacted a family member.

Williams was taken back to the hospital.

CNN.com later reported that Williams died of natural causes two weeks later.
