WATCH: Basketball scouts might want to check out this bride

A woman managed to throw her bouquet behind her back and directly into a basketball hoop.

According to the Daily Mail the tradition of throwing the bouquet began in 14th century France, when it was considered good luck to grab a piece of the bride's wedding dress.

In order to avoid getting mobbed the bouquet was thrown to distract the guests and provide them with something else to go for.

Superstition holds that whoever catches the bouquet will be the next to get married - well if that is the case the next one to get married after this wedding will be the net.
