Kuli Roberts: I went to Marie Claire's picnic at Zoo Lake in Parkview, Joburg last weekend to hang with celebs and their dogs. This was no regular picnic.

As you know, the magazine is into causes, and this picnic in the park was to further promote the current "naked" issue, in which all sorts of celebs took their clothes off in aid of the National Council of SPCAs, an animal charity. Hence the little pooches running around the park.

The issue features the sexy and naked Just Curious blogger, Lelo Boyana, who thinks it's a secret that she is seeing music sensation, Lulo. It's sweet how they both deny it.

Also featured is rugby hottie Rocco Jansen with the lovely behind. There are many other naked photographs but most impressive is the beautiful view of Jansen.

Stunner Sashi Naidoo arrived at the picnic with a sweet little scary dog called Annie, while Rob Delport arrived with a dog called Tsunami and my sister, Hlubi Mboya, came with two puppies named Gumdrop and Blue.

Whatever happened to names like Rover, Bobby or Tiger?

The function, which started at noon, was straight to the point: a couple of speeches, snacks, poses for cameras with the cheque for the charity -then off the celebs went to do what they do when we peasants are not around.

I was disappointed that the celebs who pitched like Naidoo and Mboya were not naked, but hey, after seeing Mboya and her boyfriend's pictures in the magazine, I figured seeing them naked again could be construed as perverted.

Another sexy vixen featured in the magazine's issue but who I did not spot at the do was the lovely DJ Dineo Ranaka. I had spoken to her earlier this week about drug allegations, Kenny Kunene and her breakdown on national radio.

All this happened weeks ago, so by the time I spoke to her, she was over the drama and told me she had never and would never sleep with Kunene . She also said she never takes drugs .

Ranaka is fine, folks, and she is still a rock star.

Marie Claire's editor, Aspasia Karras, was the hostess - and we all loved the individual attention she gave us and our pets.

I spotted writer, actor, producer and overall hunk Eric Miyeni sitting with some folk in a corner .

First I thought the baby in the pram was his, but then I remembered that I would have known, so I just ignored the infant. I mean, really - we already had dogs to attend to, now toothless humans too?

Another hot chick I bumped into this week was the sexy, self-inflicted bald Masechaba Lekalake, who presents some new show on SABC called One Day Leader. She excitedly told me that she is an informal Seychelles ambassador and had spent last week there to celebrate some carnival I was not invited to.

I am happy for her and hope she takes me along next time as, really, why would she waste tickets and invite her family members?
