Skrik vir niks

Some among us remember when a segment of our people would wear khaki and carry their vuurwapens with pride - an intimidating sight to many back in the day. But the Julius Malema hate-speech hearing shows us they're scared of everything these days.

The big screen outside the courthouse, which allows crowds to follow proceedings inside, almost stopped the counsel for the farmers' organisation TAU-SA, Roelof du Plessis, from coming to court. It intimidated him almost as much as Juju's soul stylings. But what did the Mampara think all those TV cameras were doing in court before the screen went up outside? Broadcasting the hearing to millions of homes, that's what. Ooh De la Rey, De la Rey, wie sal hierdie Mampara lei?
