Edward Zuma is demanding an apology from Julius Malema, following the EFF leader's criticism of his father, President Jacob Zuma.

Malema lashed out of the president, saying "You have lost control of the country, because you have lost control of your own family."

“Your own son continues to say these people must be killed. You stand up here and you do not say anything," Malema said.

"How can you rule over the country if you cannot rule over your own family? and your son is such a typical example of a family member you cannot whip into line," Malema said.

“He told Parliament that I said people must be killed. I never said that. I want a public apology for the comments he made in Parliament,” Edward Zuma said according to News24.

“If he wants to face me, he must come out and face me as a man and not use the president,” the younger Zuma said.

Malema responded to this by saying “I don’t have time for kids. He must call me when he wants to talk about his father, President Jacob Zuma. I don’t have time for this."
