They thought that they were body shaming me. But nothing could be further from the truth. I often speak about my cellulite. I’m a woman. It’s part of me.”It all started when the magazine released an image of its latest cover‚ on which Lerato is the main cover star. On social media people commented that the image was so edited that it did not do justice to Lerato’s natural beauty.She herself said that‚ while the pictures were beautiful‚ the photographer must be disappointed that his work is always “retouched”.The magazine issued a statement‚ along with unedited pictures of the star‚ saying it would never do anything to tarnish a celeb’s reputation.
