Eastern Cape government spokesman’s home gutted by fire

The home of Eastern Cape government spokesman Sizwe Kupelo was gutted by fire on Saturday morning. The Libode house and bales worth about R80‚000 went up in flames.Kupelo who was in East London at the time of the fire said herdsmen were unable to salvage anything.The flames were seen by a neighbour - who alerted the family - just after 1.30am but the flames were too strong."All my family's values burnt down to ashes‚" Kupelo said."This is a mischievous act of jealously not from a group of people but individuals."The fire was extinguished by 5am.Police are investigating possible arson...
