'I'll build 100 000 homes'‚ Masina tells Tembisa residents

Ekurhuleni ANC mayoral candidate Mzwandile Masina has urged the people of Tembisa to vote for the ruling party‚ saying it was the only party that still listens to and delivers on people's needs.Speaking at a community meeting in the Sangweni area in Tembisa‚ Masina promised to improve the lives of Ekurhuleni residents by bringing basic services to the community."We will use our 22 years in government to deliver to the poor masses of our people. We will supply electricity to informal settlements and improve the sanitation infrastructure from 10 families per toilet to five families per toilet‚" he said.Masina‚ who is currently deputy minister of trade and industry‚ promised to build 100 000 homes in the East Rand over the next five years.President Jacob Zuma‚ also on a visit to Tembisa‚ told the residents that their current socio-economic problems would be solved after Masina took over as mayor of Ekurhuleni after the local government elections...
