Minutes after giving the Democratic Alliance its support‚ the Economic Freedom Fighters in Tshwane told the new leadership of council that they were not party to the DA.“You must make sure that racism and white supremacy stops. We supported you but we are not part of you‚” said EFF councillor Benjamin Disoloane. As he uttered these words‚ ANC councillors rose to their feet to applaud him‚ commending him for his courage.r The EFF committed to support the DA on the day as it wanted ANC rule to end in Tshwane and elsewhere in hung municipalities.The EFF's national leaders have emphasised that the party’s councillors will not co-operate blindly with the DA or simply sit on the council’s benches‚ but will represent residents who put them in chambers...
