Residents of Tembisa in Ekurhuleni have asked African National Congress (ANC) chairperson Paul Mashatile to address the issue of title deeds for those who benefit from government housing programmes. The entire provincial leadership of the ANC on Tuesday visited the region of Ekurhuleni on a door-to-door campaign.Even before the leadership and members of the ANC could depart from their gathering venue‚ the members complained about title deeds. The members asked the provincial leadership to address the issue of title deeds as they were getting old and their children would not be able to prove ownership of their houses if they died.“We are beneficiaries of the first RDP programmes after 1994 but we do not have title deeds. We want you to address this issue because no one has been able to help us‚” said Amos Sigudu.Mashatile is on the campaign trail ahead of the provincial manifesto launch to be held at the FNB Stadium on Saturday. – TMG Digital..
