KZN MEC to lay charges in racist guest house row

The “racist” Sodwana Bay Guest House is “operating illegally” and will immediately be shut down‚ KwaZulu-Natal economic development and tourism MEC Sihle Zikalala said on Wednesday. Addressing business owners‚ community members and tribal authorities in the nearby village of Mbazwana‚ Zikalala said that Andre Slade - whose business gained notoriety for not allowing black guests or government employees as guests - would even face eviction from the land.MEC for Economic Development and Tourism in KwaZulu-Natal, Sihle Zikalala open cases of tax evation, operating a business illegally and crimen injuria at Mbazwana police staion, against racist gusest house owner Andre Slade.
