An EFF KwaZulu-Natal press briefing set to 'expose' misconduct by the national leadership started on a shaky note on Saturday. The presser which took place in Durban started off with a number of EFF supporters clad in party regalia singing before official proceedings‚ which was later followed by what appeared to be threats of teargas. A few minutes later officials knocked down tables while dancing. An official chairing the presser stopped the singing for a few minutes and asked supporters inside the hall if someone had brought teargas in."What is that? Who brought a teargas here?" the official asked as members started to walk out of the room. The EFF KZN branches are said to be unhappy with some decisions taken by their national leadership. The presser is expected to address issues which include what they call misconduct by national leadership to form “coalitions” with the DA without the approval of the Central Command Team (CCT).They said they will also call for a national conference to support the motion to suspend the party's Deputy President Floyd Shivambu‚ its Deputy Secretary General Hlengiwe Hlophe-Mexine and Central Command Team member Marshal Dlamini for imposing their decisions on the national leadership or CCT. ..
