EFF Chief Whip Floyd Shivambu was first to raise a point of order‚ claiming that 21 members of the South African Police Service were on standby in the house to arrest the party's members‚ using cable ties and injections as biological weapons.

EFF leader Julius Malema took the stand saying that the 441 soldiers should not only be for President Jacob Zuma's protection but for the protection of all members of parliament. He reiterated the fact that there were police officers outside who carried these mysterious injections of warfare.
