It's been a fun two weeks getting acquainted with AG Mobile's flagship cellphone offering - The Hashtag.

The first spec that jumps out at you is the phone's large screen and bright red colour.

Cassper's favourite colour ensures the device is eye-catching and everywhere I went, people recognised the phone asking "Is that the Cassper phone?" So kudos to him for choosing a colour which stands out and literally turns heads.

The screen is larger than the iPhone and Samsung 7. This makes for awesome viewing and typing. Watching videos and scrolling through pictures is no longer an eye-squinting exercise, it has been made simpler because of the Hashtag's 5.5” Corning® Gorilla®3 glass screen.

The interface is super sexy, yes its powered by Android but its colourful, clear and a joy to scroll through.

What also stood out was the front facing camera, my friends were mildly surprised when the selfie we took came out quite nicely. The 13 megapixel back camera comes in handy too and takes Instagram worthy images.

My personal favourite feature of the phone is the multimedia function, capturing videos and listening to music are my past-times so it was good to know the device did so with ease.

The downside of the Hashtag is that it takes hours to charge on a usb cord which is what many people prefer to use while at work or driving.

The battery life is average, lasting a full day at a time. Either than that the price R3,699 price tag is worth all that the phone has to offer.
