WATCH: Angry hippo attacks car

When filming a hippo out of water, it's probably a good idea to keep your distance as two visitors to the Kruger National Park discovered recently.

As the driver reversed to get a better look at the hippo, it turned and charged through the underbush towards the car. The passenger quickly rolls up the window, but the hippo makes itself very clear he's not impressed with his audience, swiping at the car before it drives away.

According to the post on Kruger National Park's YouTube channel, hippos will often leave the safety of the water when food is scarce and have been known to attack anything standing in their way.
