Pedrosa is back

SPAIN'S Dani Pedrosa sealed his return from injury by winning the German MotoGP at Berlin's Sachsenring yesterday while compatriot and world champion Jorge Lorenzo snatched second place for Yamaha at the final corner. - Reuters

MARK Cavendish won yesterday's stage of the Tour de France cycle race in a sprint finish. His fourth stage victory of this year's Tour came in the 193km 15th stage to Montpellier.
