On the weekend, Mzansi’s A-Listers met on the court for a head to head netball clash in light of raising breast cancer awareness in partnership with Brutal Fruit & The Pink Drive campaign.

Supported by the Netball South Africa’s Protea Legends Team, the tournament saw TV and Radio personalities come together for a good course and battle it out on national television.

The Lavascious Lemons took on the fearless Cheeky Cranberries in an action packed Celebrity Netball Premier League Challenge, with the Lavascious Lemons triumphing 10-09 over the Cheeky Cranberries.

The celebrity groups were made up of the Lavascious Lemons with Loot Love, Lalla Hirayama, Khanyi Mbau, Amanda Du Pont, Roxy Burger and Jay Anstey going up against the Cheeky Cranberries which had Jessica Nkosi, K Naomi, Khanya Mkhangisa and Ms Cosmo at the forefront.

Particularly Impressive was Roxy Burger who said she had played the sport in school - she was the star of the teams, putting up a courageous fight against former Protea stars who were paired with the celebrity teams.

Not surprisingly Khanyi Mbau also played well, the multi-talented mom of one had us wondering what she can't do?

Hip Hop DJ Miss Cosmo went all out despite being drafted in the second half, she is a regular action netball player in her own time. Model K Naomi showed off her skills, the tall TV presenter gave the game her best.

Popular faces who didn't quite hit it off were actress Jessica Nkosi, Vuzu AMP presenter Lalla Hirayama and actress Jay Antsey - they do get an e for effort though.
