Lux Qoboshiyana will replace Ashwell Prince as a national selector‚ a Cricket SA (CSA) release said on Monday.

Qoboshiyana‚ who played for Border before unity in 1991‚ is the Warriors’ acting selection convenor and has previously served as the franchise’s convenor.

Prince said in September that he had resigned as a selector because he wanted a career in coaching.

He is now the Cobras’ assistant coach.

CSA’s guidelines for nominations for selectors preclude anyone “serving in any appointed or elected capacity within CSA‚ a franchise or an affiliate (e.g. coach‚ selector or board member)” or as “a staff member of CSA or any franchise/affiliate”.
