Griquas centre Barry Geel is back in the side after he missed the Sharks match as part of their squad rotation policy. He will replace Corne Uys who will move to the bench.

Geel was one of the standout players in the Cheetahs’ emphatic win over the Crusaders three weeks ago.

The other change to the team, which narrowly lost 18-23 to the Sharks a fortnight ago, will see Ryno Benjamin receiving a starting  berth in place of Philip Snyman.

Team: Hennie Daniller, Riaan Viljoen, Robert Ebersohn, Barry Geel, Ryno Benjamin, Sias Ebersohn, Sarel Pretorius, Davon Raubenheimer, Ashley Johnson, Johan Wessels, Martin Muller, Francois Uys, WP Nel, Adriaan Strauss (capt), Coenie Oosthuizen.

Replacements: Ryno Barnes, Lourens Adriaanse, Izak van der Westhuizen, Pieter Myburgh, Tewis de Bruyn, Corne Uys, Riaan Smit.
