Golden Lions head coach Johan Ackermann named his 22-man team to face Eastern Province Kings in the Currie Cup at Ellis Park on Saturday.

Ackermann opted for consistency, making just one forced change to the team that beat Blue Bulls 41-13 last week.

Jaco van der Walt was set to start at flyhalf for the injured Marnitz Boshoff.

Lions team: Andries Coetzee, Lionel Mapoe, Stokkies Hanekom, Harold Vorster, Ruan Combrinck, Jaco van der Walt, Ross Cronje, Warren Whiteley (captain), Derick Minnie, Jaco Kriel, Franco Mostert, MB Lusaseni, Ruan Dreyer, Robbie Coetzee, Schalk van der Merwe

Replacements: Armand van der Merwe, Jacques van Rooyen, Willie Britz, Warwick Tecklenburg, Guy Cronje, Kwagga Smith, Howard Mnisi.
