The Stormers are ready to welcome back Cheslin Kolbe and Juan de Jongh next week after the pair complete their stints with the Blitzboks.

Both Kolbe and De Jongh have featured in all three of the Blitzboks' Sevens World Series tournaments so far this season, and they are in the squad for this weekend's Sydney tournament.

At the beginning of the Sevens season Blitzboks coach Neil Powell said that players would need to feature in four World Series tournaments to be considered for the 2016 Rio Olympics squad.

That is good news for the Stormers, who have even more concern at centre after Jaco Taute picked up an ankle injury in his side's 40-15 win over SWD at the weekend.

The extent of Taute's injury is not yet known, and he's seeing a doctor on Monday.

Meanwhile, Seabelo Senatla is contracted to the Blitzboks and will feature for them throughout the season.

The final leg of the Sevens World Series takes place on May 20 in London while the Olympics are from August 5-21.

The Super Rugby final will be played on August 6.
