Former Real Madrid Brazilian star Ronaldo Nazário once again insisted that Cristiano Ronaldo deserves to win the coveted Ballon d’Or ahead of Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.

The World Cup-winning Brazilian was at the Santiago the Bernabéu for the Ludogorets game to check out his former team's form for himself, according to Marca.

"They are both still performing very well but it's pretty clear this year, the Ballon d'Or will go to Cristiano".

"Cristiano is moving very well on the field, and Kroos has impressed me, he is a great talent".

The Brazilian was impressed by the way 'Los Blancos' are playing: "I've come over for a few days. I always watch Real Madrid, wherever I am, Real are looking fantastic", he stated.
