Newly appointed Mpumalanga Black Aces head coach Muhsin Ertugral has set a target of 40-points for next season.

Ertugral, who joined AmaZayoni for the upcoming season on a two-year deal on Tuesday, has hailed the positive atmosphere in the Aces squad.

AmaZayoni finished 10th on the log  in the recently concluded season having amassed 34 points after 30 matches and the Turkish mentor has earmarked an improvement in the team’s points tally for next season.

“We worked very hard with my Technical Team and we have finalised our plans. We are starting our pre-season on 8th June 2015,” Ertugral told the teams official website on Thursday.

“Our short term goal is to target 40 points and the rest will fall into place. I have won trophies in the PSL before and that ambition is still there. We will make some changes in the team, we will get the fundamentals right and we will definitely compete,” added Ertugral.

Ertugral also confirmed he will be keen to work with conditioning coach Elsa Storm and also sees Calvin Marlin having a role in his technical team.

Aces will re-group for pre-season on June 8, 2015.
