Jose Mourinho was so convinced that there was a "rat" leaking team news to the press during his reign in charge of Real Madrid that he launched a huge dressing-room rant accusing players of deceit.
This emerged from a new book by former Real goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek, according to Spanish daily Marca.
The Poland goalkeeper was at Madrid at the time Mourinho's relationship with some of the club's senior players deteriorated.
One episode Dudek recounts concerns Mourinho's anger over a leak about his plans for a huge clash with Barcelona.
"He came into the dressing room with a face like thunder and had a go at us because the press had found out that Pepe was going to play in midfield.”
"Where's the rat? Is it you, Granero?" Dudek claims that Mourinho asked: "He insisted that there was a rat in the dressing room and said that he wouldn't stop until he found out who it was. Then he closed the door and left".
