Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo could find himself in hot water with Safa after a report emerged that he snubbed a Bafana Bafana call up in order to go partying in Durban, according to a report.

Khuzwayo was called up to the Bafana squad for a 2018 World Cup qualifying match against Angola in Benguela but the keeper asked to be excused, telling his club that he was rushing off to Durban on an urgent family business.

Khuzwayo was excused from travelling after Chiefs informed the South Africa Football Association of family commitments he had to attend to.

But, according to Sunday Sun, it seems he finished his family business much earlier – as he was spotted partying with friends late on Sunday night at Eyadini Lounge.

According to the report, Khuzwayo was angered because he was apparently called up to the national team as back-up player to replace injured teammate Itumeleng Khune.

Khuzwayo was not available for comment. Chiefs spokesperson Vina Maphosa said they don't comment on players'  personal lives.
