Tickets for this year’s Telkom Knockout final between Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs are sold out, the PSL has confirmed.

Ticket sales opened at 13:30 on Tuesday, December 16. By 16:30, there were no tickets available. Only hospitality packages are available through the stadium.

PSL acting Chief Executive, Mato Madlala, has thanked the football supporters and members of the public for the support.

"We have been overwhelmed by this positive response from the public," Madlala said.

"We knew that we are going to get a capacity crowd but we never anticipated selling out the whole stadium in few hours. This has been a pleasant surprise.

"This affirms the fact that football remains relevant and extremely popular with millions of our people because no other sport can claim to have done the same in this country.

"We look forward to a packed Moses Mabhida Stadium on December 16, 2015 and a great final between Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs."

Madlala has warned against those who will be trying to produce fraudulent tickets.

"Through our cooperation with the South African Police Service and other security service providers, we will adopt a zero tolerance to fraudulent tickets.

"We urge our people not to purchase tickets from the black market," Madlala said.

The TKO final will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Kick-off is at 18:00.
