Moroka Swallows under new ownership

Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi announced on Monday that beleaguered Moroka Swallows are now under new ownership. Speaking on 083 Sports@6 with Robert Marawa on Monday evening‚ Lesufi‚ who has a keen interest in South Africa's oldest club‚ confirmed that an SA consortium‚ which is to be named at a later stage‚ has acquired 92% of the club's shares while 8% will be owned by other minority shareholders.Ref gives three penalties as draw stymies PSL promotion chasers Spurs and EaglesA controversial 3-3 draw between Witbank Spurs and Royal Eagles in a rescheduled National First Division match yesterday has ruled both out of contention for the promotion-relegation play-offs.
