AmaTuks coffin finally lowered into the ground as relegation is confirmed

Highlands Park failed in their bid to finish the post season Premier Soccer League promotion-relegation play-offs with a 100 percent record but were still able to celebrate an unbeaten run as they confirmed their place in the top flight next season with a goalless draw at the University of Pretoria. Highlands‚ who had already secured promotion a week ago‚ finished their four-match programme with 10 points.The draw ensured a very first point in the play-offs for a deeply disappointed AmaTuks‚ who go down to the National First Division after three seasons in the top-league.Tuks could well have posted their first win in the series after being awarded a penalty in the last quarter-hour. While Sibusiso Mthethwa sent the visiting goalkeeper the wrong way‚ he also missed the target.Wednesday’s match at Tuks Stadium brought down the curtain on the 2015-16 season with the new campaign due to get away in late August...
