Ex-Pirates winger Sifiso Myeni joins Wits

Bidvest Wits have signed winger Sifiso Myeni from Orlando Pirates, the Clever Boys have announced on their official Twitter page on Wednesday.

Myeni (28) returns to his roots. The winger’s introduction to Premier Soccer League football came for Wits, who he starred for from 2008 to 2011, before signing for Pirates.

The Tweet on Wits’ page read: “Bidvest Wits is pleased to announce the signing of Sifiso Myeni. Welcome back to the family. #nakanjani”, and featured a picture of Myeni shaking hands with Clever Boys CEO Jose Ferreira.

It was not clear how long Myeni has signed for Wits, on the day that the off-season transfer window ahead of the 2015-16 season closes on Wednesday.
