Big guns avoid each other in TKO Cup draw

The top Premier Soccer League sides have avoided each other for the forthcoming Telkom Knockout Cup following the draw that was conducted on Thursday in Johannesburg.

Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns were pitted at home against Polokwane City while Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will be also at home to Maritzburg United and Golden Arrows respectively.

Sundowns lifted the 16-team trophy by beating Chiefs 3-1 in the final of this competition, which was played in December 2015.

The televised draw was conducted at the Wanderers Club in Johannesburg.

Dates and venues for the games will be announced in due course.

Orlando Pirates vs Golden Arrows
