New Manchester United signing Eric Bailly spoke exclusively to the club's official TV channel, MUTV, about his pride and delight at joining the most successful English club immediately after completing his transfer from Spanish side Villarreal on Wednesday afternoon.

The 22-year-old Ivory Coast defender, a 2015 Africa Cup of Nations winner, signed a four-year contract and became the first signing under the stewardship of newly appointed Jose Mourinho.

Subject to obtaining a work permit, the Ivory Coast international will become the fifth African international player to represent the Reds.
