The Times report on Wednesday 22 August incorrectly stated that Durban High Court ordered Robert Mhlanga to stop work on his Ballito property until building plans were approved.

Kwadukuza municipal spokesman Sifiso Zulu yesterday said the judgement was in fact against the Ballito Lifestyle Centre, which was ordered to stop work on its expansion until its building plans were approved.

The municipality did launch an application seeking an interim interdict in respect of further construction against properties in which Mhlanga has an indirect interest, however failed to get a stop order.

The matter was postponed sine die on June 28 to allow all parties to exchange affidavits, which has since been delivered.

Parties now await court dates for the matter to be argued.

We apologise for the error.
