ON THE PLAYLIST: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 2

Pearl Boshomane | 16 November, 2012 00:14

Music is always important for setting the right atmosphere in movies, and Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga has always played it up.

After Edward left Bella in New Moon, Lykke Li's Possibility was the soundtrack to Bella's moping.

When Riley was attacked by a group of vampires in Eclipse, the Black Keys' Chop and Change sexed-up the atmosphere.

The Breaking Dawn Part 2 soundtrack features exclusive tracks from Feist, Green Day, Passion Pit, Ellie Goulding (collaborating with Skrillex) and St Vincent (who teamed up with Bon Iver on the stunner Roslyn from New Moon). While some songs on the soundtrack are gems (James Vincent McMorrow's Ghosts for example), many are forgettable (Reeve Carney, Christina Perri, Green Day).
