Make this quick and easy bake for a health breakfast option.
Ingredients
1 egg
cup (60ml) brown sugar
cup (125ml) fat-free milk
2 tbsp (30ml) avocado oil
1 cup (250ml) oats
100g almonds, roughly chopped
1 tsp (5ml) cinnamon
60g dates, pitted and chopped
200g apples, peeled and cubed
100g frozen berries
Method
Preheat oven to 180C.
Beat together the egg and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add milk and oil.
Stir in the oats, almonds, cinnamon and dates.
Place chopped apple and frozen berries onto the base of an ovenproof dish and pour the oats mix over.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked.
Serve with a spoonful of fat-free yoghurt for a healthy breakfast option.
