Ron Weisner has had his share of tantrums, breakdowns and fallouts as manager of some of the biggest pop stars ever.

The Daily Mail reports how Weisner walked out on the Material Girl and asked George Michael to kick the closet. These details are revealed in Weisner's new tell-all book, Listen Out Loud.

"She [Madonna] was one of the most unpleasant people I've ever had to deal with," says Weisner.

Now 69 years old, he says that calling Madonna a prima donna was an understatement and that's why their relationship came to a crushing end in 1985.

"At one concert in Seattle we had a young audience, 12- and 13-year-olds, with their mothers in tow. We told her to 'go easy' on stage but she did the opposite."

Weisner says Michael Jackson was one of his biggest clients at one stage.

He was first employed in the 1970s by Joe Jackson to represent The Jackson Five. Weisner says he later managed Michael at the peak of his career.

He says he last spoke to the King of Pop less than 24 hours before his death on June 29 2009.

The singer was afraid of his father, says Weisner.

"He always wanted to be white. He didn't want to be reminded of Joe Jackson."

Weisner represented Paul McCartney, and arranged for the latter and Jackson to record their famous duet, The Girl Is Mine (1982).

He went on to represent Wham! in the 1980s... "George [Michael] was another huge talent tormented by demons. He struggled with his sexuality for years... he was convinced [that] if he came out his career would be over."
