Eskom crisis requires urgency

President Jacob Zuma is forever blaming load-shedding on apartheid instead of confronting the real causes of the failure at Eskom. Our country is here because of a lack of management competence and policy makers with inadequate vision.There is no way the country can see its way out of this darkness with the leadership crisis at Eskom.COPE remains convinced that a specialist rescue team of proven experts should be appointed to assist in turning Eskom around without delay.Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown should seriously look into the issues being raised by the board members. Half measures will no longer suffice. It is deep surgery that is required. ..
