Clayton gets cold shoulder

Supersport United captain Clayton Daniels has a number of friends at his former club, Ajax Cape Town, but they've been ignoring him throughout the week. "I am going to play against my home boys, which is always exciting. [But] everyone is quiet. They are ignoring me. Maybe they are scared or something, I don't know," the former Mamelodi Sundowns defender said ahead of his side's Nedbank Cup semifinal clash with Ajax at Athlone Stadium tomorrow.Ajax are a difficult bunch to play against in the Mother City, showing this in their victories over Bloemfontein Celtic and Bidvest Wits in the last 16 and quarterfinals respectively.The Urban Warriors last lost at home in October, a 1-0 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs in the league. Despite the impressive record at home, SuperSport are not fazed."We have the experience of winning the Telkom Knockout Cup [last year]. Ajax have a young squad. They are inexperienced and they are going to come playing out of their skins. They have not played in a big game like this one in a while," Daniels said...
