Taxis are the most convenient mode of transport and the most affordable. However, the behaviour of taxi drivers is problematic.They have absolutely no regard for other people on the road. They forget that they are carrying the lives of others on their shoulders.The barricading of roads and shooting of bus drivers in Mamelodi to protest against the introduction of the Autopax bus service is testimony that taxi drivers are a law unto themselves.They must be reminded that they don't own the roads and routes.They must also learn to raise their concerns through negotiations instead of resorting to violence...
