Well hello, Dolly relishes return to Sundowns

22 July 2015 - 02:02 By Tshepang Mailwane

Keagan Dolly did not get the send-off he was hoping for at Ajax Cape Town, but he has put that behind him and is ready for his new challenge at Mamelodi Sundowns. The midfielder, who was left out of Ajax's Nedbank Cup final squad against Sundowns in May, is back at the big-spending club after leaving the team to join the Urban Warriors in 2012."I thought I would be in the team for the Nedbank Cup. It was heartbreaking because I thought I would get a good send-off. The week before that we played Pirates at home in Cape Town. It was my last game in Cape Town, but I came on in the last three minutes and I touched the ball once. I thought they would speak to me and tell me why I was not in the team."But I am happy to be back in this side at Sundowns."Dolly, who scored for the national under-23s against Zimbabwe in a 2016 Rio Olympics qualifier on Sunday, expects to play on the left wing and not in a central midfield position."Firstly I want to settle in and obviously play as much as I can and get games under my belt. I want to help the team get the [league] trophy back. The coach [Pitso Mosimane] told me that I should not be scared to play."I started two friendly matches in Nelspruit recently and we won both matches. So everything went well. I think they will use me on the left wing."..
