Abuse a ticking time bomb

There has been wide publicity about people murdering their lovers. It is alarming that these stories are published on a daily basis, but it appears that nothing is being done to curb this behaviour.According to the Women in Action website, the gender nature of domestic violence has unfortunately seen an increase in the number of women being murdered by their intimate male partners. The government needs to take drastic steps as a matter of urgency to address the prevalence of domestic violence in our society before this ticking time bomb explodes. The battle against domestic violence can only be won if women also play their part by speaking out when they are being abused and reporting the incident to the authorities. ..
