Disney and Nyong'o find true romance

Kenyan-Mexican actress Lupita Nyong'o appears to be a firm favourite with Disney. She will star in three keenly awaited films for the studio due for filming this year.The first, Queen of Katwe, is likely to warm hearts because it's based on a true story.The Oscar-winning actress was in Johannesburg in May with filmmaker Mira Nair to shoot parts of the movie.It is based on the life of Ugandan chess prodigy Phiona Mutesi and follows her in her pursuit of her dream of becoming a chess grandmaster.Nyong'o plays Phiona's mother, Harriet Mutesi, whose daughter went from the slums of Uganda to become a candidate master after her performance at the World Chess Olympiad.She won through with the help of Robert Katende, who will be played by David Oyelowo.Nyong'o is also to star in the seventh instalment of Star Wars, The Force Awakens, due to open at the end of the year.Fans can also expect to see, or rather hear, Nyong'o in Disney's remake of The Jungle Book, in which she voices the wolf.Disney has revealed that a number of sequels are in development.Fans of Finding Nemo will be pleased to know that Finding Dory will be released in June next year.In the sequel, Dory, voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, will follow Nemo, Marlon and a host of new characters as they help Dory find her family.Other films in the pipeline include Frozen 2, Alice Through the Looking Glass, Beauty and the Beast and Captain America: Civil War...
