Unathi taken off air after Twitter rant

Unathi Msengana has been silenced and it seems there will be no "bring back Unathi" Twitter campaign. The MetroFM breakfast show presenter and Idols SA judge has suspended after Twitter rants in which she swore at a listener who had taken issue with views she had expressed on air.Yesterday SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago said: "She [Msengana] is not going to be scheduled because we are dealing with this issue ... she took a sanctioned topic into her private life."Kganyago said the presenter "did not do anything wrong on the show", but taking the matter further "tainted the station's credibility".Msengana did not comment...
