Florist Stalk of the Town in Cape Town has opened a pop-up shop to host a special spring collection. All items on sale are inspired by plants. Who?Rini Harrington and Estelle van Niekerk, who have been running the florist for a number of years, moved into their new premises in Gardens four months ago. From here they create bunches of blossoms or flowers for your place of work, home or function.What?For their spring pop-up shop, Van Niekerk and Harrington have chosen objects - homeware, jewellery, art, clothes - with botanical themes.There are jugs, carafes, and mugs with plant motifs. You'll find embroidered and printed cushions with scenes from your garden, scarfs and tops to wear this spring. Beautiful jewellery moulded into shapes of flowers and leaves. You'll want to buy big platters for your long summer lunches in the garden.Why?Take your mind off the dreary with a visit to this airy shop brightened up with bunches of peonies.Prices?There is an Isobel Sippel tablecloth for R4000.
