Cassper Nyovest may have solidified his spot in the friend zone, but none of that matters when he battles it out on stage with his former girlfriend. The award-winning rapper and former girlfriend Boity Thulo will be the first celebrity duo to compete on the television phenomenon Lip Sync Battle Africa next week.The actress and the Club 808 presenter, who's on the cover of the latest True Love magazine, opened up about the break-up recently, saying it was amicable.The show, which is the first African format of the American version, is hosted by radio DJ, model and television personality Pearl Thusi.Bringing his swag to the mix, Nigerian artist D'Banj, also known as the Koko Master, will step in as the commentator, adding his unscripted observations to the show.The highly anticipated TV series will see celebrity pairs go up against each other as they lip-sync a song of their choice for a live studio audienceLip Sync Battle Africa will premiere on MTV and MTV Base on April 14.
